I'd go with Alienware.

Here's a few to look at if you're wanting to do some heavy spending. 🙂

Yes, I do. Thanks for the advice. I was considering Alienware but they seem a bit expensive.
Have you considered building one yourself as a project? Might work out cheaper, although I'm nowhere near an expert in these kind of things

In my experience, Alienware is just the brand. All you are paying for is all the promotion they've done on their brand. You can get a much better PC for much cheaper. If you want pre-built gaming PC's cyberpower and ibuypower aren't bad at all. But I definitely would recommend building it yourself. It's really not too hard, and if you have no experience you can find people to help you out IRL pretty easily. And you can buy the parts for a total that will end up cheaper than a pre-built

I don't really have the experience to build my own PC although I know people who do. Isn't it better to buy it built because people who work in these companies are more experienced and more likely to build a better system for you?

The advantage of buying a pre-built PC is that you have a 1-3+ year warranty, and technical support, so if your PC breaks, the company would repair your PC within the warranty time.

When you ask a friend, they may not fix your PC if it breaks, or not buy you a new computer part if they accidentally break a part like bending a pin on the bottom of the CPU when building a PC.

Also, pre-built PC would work right after you turn it on because PCs from Alienware, ibuypower, and CyberPowerPc are tested to work before they are shipped. A PC you build may not work or not work reliably after you turn it on, if you installed a part wrong, or a part is broken.

This is very true.

In my experience, though, the friends I had help me were very knowledgeable. It's not crazy complicated to build a PC, but yes there are problems that can occur. However, you can save a lot of money and if you are very careful you end up with a very well-build product that you can have the pride of saying you built yourself(with some help 😛 )

That's just my personal experience though

Usually it works out to be cheaper if you build it yourself, since you only pay for the parts and not assembly and all the other attachments for pre-built computers. However if you are not comfortable building you're own and spending another couple hundred, I would use a one of the companies mentioned above aside from Alienware.

Not to mention there are plenty of videos on how to assemble a computer properly, and it really is quite simple.

Alienware is for thoses who don't want to spend 1 hour learning how to build their own PC. Also don't care spending $500+ (or more) than what it is actually worth.

It would be a lot cheaper to build your own, but if you want a close fair price for a custom built pc and not build it yourself.

They offer pretty decent deals and such. Also pretty good to get along with. My friend bought a custom built PC from them. Had a minor SSD issue he sent it back and they sent back a fully functional PC and gave him a bonus of additional hardware for his PC as compensation. He gained about $300 more worth in hardware he didn't have to pay for.

Building a PC is like putting together a small lego toy. It just takes a little bit of common sense and some reading to learn how to build one. It is fun and worth it and saves you a lot of money.

They have a console based Alienware PC in the gaming section at Wal-Mart for 500-600 dollars. Same as what'd you pay for a PS4 of X-Box One. Comes with a controller and Windows 8. Probably Window's 10 now.
