Best place to store your money from your website earnings?

I'm thinking about opening a high interest savings account for storing my Paypal and Adsense earnings since my regular bank account interests is very low since I get 10 cents a month in interest.

But, regular bank accounts don't have many limitations like High interest ones. I need to save up $5000 till I can open one up.

at the beginning use paypal (good for online payments) as you might need to pay stuff for your community to grow it faster.

I'd go with a savings account. Bonds used to be good, but not so great these days,

Indeed, savings accounts are the best option for most people. It is also a good idea to pick a bank which does not have hidden fees, or charge you a lot of money for transferring money to paypal or withdrawing money.

Do you know which are better banks or credit unions for storing money in a savings account?

Yeah, I have them put into a trusty bank near my house. Thats the only place, to have my money put, and still feeling safe.

I would go by storing it in your PayPal account untill you have the sum and then transfer it as a one time!

Keep it in paypal until you get a large amount.Once you get enough, then roll it into savings.

Huh? The question isn't to promote or glorify PayPal, hence why the many different suggestions in the poll. How can you say that "People NEVER think about that" when you have a poll with many different, non-PayPal options?

I initially place money in PayPal and every so often move it to my bank account.

As with David I also keep the money in my PayPal account but I regularly withdraw it to my bank account. This isn't just money I used to make from my forum (which wasn't much) but it includes a lot of high value freelance work which would require relatively large amounts of money being stored in one place, and frankly with the way PayPal seems to limit accounts these days, I feel that my money is much more safe in my bank account(s).

I put any money i got from my websites into a seperate bank account. Because i would put all that money back into the site.

Bank account for excess funds, keep money needed in your paypal. Don't have too much in paypal as they can limit you whenever they want and then you're screwed out of all your money.

I store all mine in my Paypal. When I want cash I transfer it to my bank account.
