Best way to end a long Zoom call?

I've been stuck on Zoom calls a couple times now in the past week, and I don't know how to graciously exit them when they've gone on longer than anticipated.

How do you leave Zoom calls that go on too long?

Just exit abruptly and then send a group e-mail stating that your Internet dropped and bidding everyone a good evening.

Never used it myself, but often our boss had to leave for another meeting. It's a useful one to try, I'd say. 🙂

This is something I always find I struggle with when it comes to any call online such as Zoom and that is how to end it LOL

I have social anxiety so avoiding those situations is always best for me but sometimes it's not that easy.

Take a piece of paper and start to crinkle it next to your laptop to make it sound like the call is breaking up. You know, like in the olden days when people used to talk on landline phones. You should also perform percussive maintenance — whacking the computer a few times in order to sell the endeavor.

Last year, almost all our meetings were online. So if I'm too tired to continue with zoom, I will only disconnect.
