Best ways to create a real estate website?

I am going to create a real estate website which allow users to promote their posts on it. I am getting confused on choosing a flatform for this type of website. I have two way to start, using a forum software or using Wordpress CMS + finding a template from Themeforest and buy it to start this website. Which way is better and why?

You can google real estate website and see how it works there, it is one of my web projects that I am building thus I could not tell more what I need to do for it now.

But at least I am needing a direction to choose platform as my question mentioned above.
What things would you suggest to go with?
Have you tried to build a such website?

My point is real estate website can literally be ANYTHING. How can we give an opinion when we have no specifics on what you want to build or are trying to accomplish? Not to mention who you're trying to compete against?

Can not show more here because even I am choosing a platform for it. Just asking here to get some ideas.
Its just in my plan and in the process of building a new one.

There seems to be a lot of free real estate WordPress themes. They look good to me, but I haven't compared them to the premium ones. Anyway, some niches seem to have no free themes - like hosting.
