Better forum name

Hey,
I own a General & technology forum now I’m stuck on the better name so the highest vote by Friday wins!

techobserved as domain name seems more suited but the .com appears to be taken. observed.tech (tech being the top level domain) is available although it seems quite pricey. I've read that these new domains have a negative impact on startup's SEO rankings but I've yet to see any real evidence to support that.

I think that would be my choice, it's short, memorable and comprised of real words.

If technology is a notable focus of your board I would go for Tech Observed. Talk Observed would be better suited if your board was purely a general chat forum with no particular focus on a specific subject, which it doesn't sound like your board is.

I chose Talk Observed since you are leaning towards the General niche with Tech & other boards included.

If you're focusing on the technology niche, then I'd say Tech Observed makes sense. I look at your forum though, and it looks like tech is just a small slice of the pie for your forum. I'd stick with Talk Observed, as your forum appears to have been built to be a general chat forum.

Talk Observed because it’s a general discussion forum so naming it tech doesn’t really make sense.

Well, tech sounds cooler and better however you are basing yourself over tech more than talk. I see talk as a general forum where you can talk about anything 🙂 I made my vote anyway even though I have my two thoughts.

general discussion - talk 😉 lets talk about anything right. Unless you into your tech still can talk under talk 😛

I always look for search engine friendly name, therefore, I think tech observed is a better name.
