So if someone in Iran were to make a game about shooting up americans you'd be fine with it? After all what's the difference?death180 said:God for everything that FICTIONALLY happens in a video game/movie/book there is someone there to b****about it. SHUT UP! IT'S JUST A GAME!
You wouldn't be to happy either if you're country was being accused of terrorism and being attacked ;/death180 said:God for everything that FICTIONALLY happens in a video game/movie/book there is someone there to b****about it. SHUT UP! IT'S JUST A GAME!
Actually yes. I constantly hope to play as the bad guys in FPS'. In BF3 I wish I could have played as the PLR. In mw2 I wish I could have played as the Russians. I don't believe that it is fair that the US is always the "good guys", because if you look at reality you realize that's not always the case.Gimgak said:So if someone in Iran were to make a game about shooting up americans you'd be fine with it? The game does not accuse Iran of being terrorists. The game created a fictional militia group called the PLR that were located in Iran. Much like Al-Quaeda is located in Iraq/Afghanistan today. But Iran is throwing another hissyfit and getting angry about it. And I am sure if a game came out where you shot at US soldiers, most people in the US wouldn't like that. But that's because everyones a bunch of wuss's nowadays. They can't handle a little fictional violence.Shahrier said:You wouldn't be to happy either if you're country was being accused of terrorism and being attacked ;/death180 said:God for everything that FICTIONALLY happens in a video game/movie/book there is someone there to b****about it. Yes but its still not nice for your people to be portrayed as the bad guys in many games. Mel gibson depicted a scene where english soldiers rounded up villagers in america and sent them into a barn then burned them alive in the patriot, this was based on a true story but it was actually german soldiers who did this to the russians in the 2nd world war, quite a few americans thought this really happened (stupidly) and then started hating on the english. What I am saying is that I can understand why they would ban this game when it depicts them as terrorists and genocidal maniacs.Patrick S. said:I wouldn't care to figs if they shot Americans, Indians, Germans, or Aliens.
A games a game 😛
There meant to be played not taken for truth 😛
