Biggest File You Downloaded?

Well then... Hurray for incompetent ISPs!

Mine has a 3 strikes you're out rule, so they don't charge you extra but the third time you go over the alloted bandwidth they terminate you. Pretty stupid, and they don't show you how much you've used.

What ISP are you with? LOL.

Comast.

They wrote that with 250GB of bandwidth you can:
Send 50 million emails (at 0.05 KB/email)
Download 62,500 songs (at 4 MB/song)
Download 125 standard-definition movies (at 2 GB/movie)
Upload 25,000 hi-resolution digital photos (at 10 MB/photo)
So, looks like comcast has no problem with us sending 50m emails... Silly spammers buying offshore bullet proof hosting when apparently comcast finds sending 50m emails acceptable

2 terabytes.

0.o

What did you download? XD

External hard drive -> internal hard drives xD

That's not really downloading... more of transfering...

I'm still in the lead!

It's still downloading, since I was downloading the data from my external to internals.

Downloading and transferring terms can both be used.

Look it up.

"In computer networks, to download means to receive data to a local system from a remote system, or to initiate such a data transfer. Examples of a remote system from which a download might be performed include a webserver, FTP server, email server, or other similar systems."

Doesn't state anything about external HDD's. >.>

I'm still in the lead. 😛

I'm still downloading the internet. Dunno how big it is, but it is taking forever.

Like 25 GB because I had to download my entire iTunes store that amassed from 4 years of different iPods, they gave me a terms of use exception and let me download them, it took like 36 hours.
