To be honest my biggest idol would probably be my teachers and my parents. You may be wondering why teachers, but the reason I chose them is because if we didn't have people like them then we wouldn't have got an education to follow our dreams and make them come true. I chose my parents because they were always there for me when everyone else wasn't. I chose those idols because all of them loved me and understood me ways other people couldn't.
I like that you said teachers Devin. The teachers I had in school are what inspired me to work towards a degree in elementary education with my eventual goal being to work for a university. So, I'd have to say that my teachers are huge influences as well.
Also, my mother, grandfather, sister, and girlfriend are huge influences in my life.
Teachers inspire me a lot too. During the bad times they would keep us safe, and some teachers would even give up their own life for the kids in the classroom to this very day. I have seen it happen lately on the news. One teacher hid the kids and got shot to death keeping the shooters away from the kids. She passed later on after that but she protected every kid from the harmful shooter. That makes me feel good about the people that we have in out school systems today.
