Birthdays

Do you do anything special for birthdays on your forum?

On mine we have a stickied thread and MyBB displays current birthday's on our forum index.

Birthdays are displayed on the index (if people put in their birthday of course) and I'll usually make a topic for people's birthdays too.

The members' avatars are displayed in the forum index. Often other users post on the profile page of the birthday members, and wish them a happy birthday! 😀

On FP we have a section on the index for them. If the member is especially active, they'll probably get a birthday thread too!

I usually create a topic and sticky the topic so that everyone on the forum can see it and wish the member(s) a happy birthday. 🙂

I PM them saying Happy Birthday and usually they get a topic in the general topic board if they are active saying happy birthday. 😀

They also got a pretty pink sparkly name for the day.

Just a topic saying happy birthday, thats what pretty much every forum does (as far as I've seen).
