Your Quick Review
Pros
+ I like that the "Community" category isn't being ignored. Even though the forum is all about a clan which is all about gaming, it's good to see that it's not just gaming on servers all the time, members are actually participating in the forum. That's a good sign.
+ I like the effectiveness of the "Black Legion" category set up. I just don't like its size, as I mentioned in the cons. I think it's set up very well besides that though.
+ I like that your board descriptions really tell the members all about the servers. Boards dedicated to a particular board feature important server information, such as giving credit to the person who donated the server and who is the division leader of the server.
Cons
- I feel your forum needs a favicon. All I see is the depressing default white paper icon. You should get a custom favicon created for your forum if possible. You could just use an icon from an icon resource website though. It look nice if you use the same icon that is used in the logo as the favicon, so they flow together.
- I feel your logo has a little too much transparent space. The actual icon and text part of the logo could be a lot bigger. The way it is now just looks weird. There's a lot of empty space on the header.
- I feel your forum needs a new theme. The Absolution theme is a nice theme, but it is way overused. Also, the theme really doesn't even fit your forum's genre. You want a theme that relates to gaming, guns, etc. The Absolution theme's color scheme doesn't fit your forum's genre either. A darker color scheme probably fits your forum's genre better.
- I feel the "Black Legion" category is too big. I think you should break it into two categories, with the last three categories being in one category. I also don't feel the "Appeal a Ban" board is necessary. You could easily add that to the menu. I'm not really sure if you need any of those redirection boards honestly.
- I don't think the "Website Suggestions & Complaints" board needs to be broken up in sub-boards. I understand the ranks, but that's just really unnecessary. You could just have a MOD that when a user clicks to post a topic, they have to fill out a template, and one of the things on the template would be for them to specify what server, etc. the suggestion relates to.
Final/General Thoughts
Black Legion is a clan forum, so you can't really expect too much as having a successful forum isn't exactly the number one goal, but there are improvements that could be made that could help the forum, which could very help the clan in general when it's all said and done.
