Is it right to blame "video games, religion, or the media" for violence in the world today?
I mostly blame the violent person's anger or psychotic problems for committing violent crimes since it is not like video games, and the media is like a remote control which can take over someone's body to hurt someone.
I have been playing violent video games, and watching violent movies for years, and never went on a violent rampage after enjoying a shooter game or James Bond Film.

You can't blame media for how kids act. Parents need to monitor what their kids are watching, or at the very least teach them right from wrong. I never had anything censored but I was taught the difference between make believe and real life. Just because I could kill that hooker in the game doesn't mean I should nail her with my car today.

No, blaming videos games, media and religion is an easy way out. If we want to tackle violence, we need to look at the problems in society and attempt to fix them.

Look at the lawyer Jack Thompson, the guy who crusaded against grand theft auto for causing all societal problems. Now he is disbarred. Case closed, media is not to blame.
