Blank template help!

I am trying to make a homemade 'portal' page for my site
http://xboxworld.site90.net/index.php I need a blank temple with my style background and such showing so i can add different tables to it. Or i need a link to a simple phpbb3 portal that is easy to install. No mysql database edits please! Or just give an easy code for the blank template thing.

well i have found a way to do this with tables and such. I am good now but may have more questions

The problem with having a template and not a portal is that it doesn't handle sessions so it won't show information for users such as the user information and it won't hide the register and login links.

well i just want to have some sort of homepage to add to the forum. i am getting things sorted out and it is going well for now
