Google, Search Engines etc. Also having a domain is a good thing.

Other things include putting your image out there. Advertise Like Hell. You can place links on other sites you own (If any?) and use some different promotion forums.

Also use Traffic Exchnage Sites. I believe on some you may be able to set a traget audience?

Comment on other blogs and sent trackbacks to other blogs. It's best to use Google Blog Search for this as Google updates it with relevant blogs hourly.

Joining Blog Engage is always a useful place as it's filled with bloggers. Also, adding dofollow comment links can make it more inviting. Yes it may be spammy, but if people spend their time reading and commenting, it's the least you can do to reward them.

Making your site interactive with Twitter, a flash tag cloud or other social networking does help promote your site.

I've heard, though I've never done it, Guest posting can really help boost traffic to a blog if it's done correctly.

You can wear a T-shirt with your blog link on the front and back of your clothing and walk around town telling people about your blog.

Also, put your blog link on Buisness cards and pass them out to people.

If you own a car, you can use "non"-permanent paint or markers and write your link on the back and side windows of your car. I see a lot of big buisnesses putting their phone number and website address on the side of their cars.

Putting websites links on pens, and notepads can also improve traffic.

http://technorati.com/ is a good place to submit your blog.

Also, consider submiting your blog to a few blog directories.

Guest blogging, Article Marketing, Link exhanges, Squidoo lenses, hub pages, and Youtube videos, can also be a great source for traffic.

Commenting on other people blogs can also bring traffic.

If you have cash, you can consider paying for "Paid to click" advertising, or yearly or monthly advertising plans.

Well, I recommend you to Leaving useful comments on other blogs and forums. It is very necessary to note here that you need to comment useful to get noticed. Do not make a forced sale, or simply send a quick great job and leave your URL. Find blogs or websites that target your move and communicate with them through comments or forum posts.
