Appearance and Style - (Out of 20)
The style is boring. It’s all white, except for the blue bar at the top, the ads, and then the orange and black text. I look at this style and just think the blog won’t even be good. You need to get some sort of theme on here. A lot of people will see the theme and leave without even reading your articles. You also don’t really even have a logo/banner. It’s just a white rectangle with the word “SYMSIC” in it in black letters. The appearance overall is horrible and will turn a lot of people away from your blog. You have a lot of work to do here. Also, having the Blogger bar at the top doesn’t look very good either. If it’s possible and legal to remove it, then do it. If not, then I’d suggest getting hosting and getting a blog that way using Word Press or another blog software.

Blog Layout and Categorization - (Out of 20)
You need to make some categories for your blog. The fact that you only have an archive and no categories, a lot of people won’t look at your older posts because they don’t know what they’ll be about. You should also look into moving the Google ads on the right side of the page to below everything else you have on the right side.

On all of your blog posts on the main page, there is 1 comment between all of them. It seems like a SPAM comment too seeing as it only has 4 words. You don’t seem to get very many visitors to your blog at all.

Quality and Frequency of Posts - (Out of 20)
Your posts have a good quality, but your frequency of posts is really poor. You only have 2 blog posts so far in 2010 and they have been posted about a week apart. You also only have 6 posts in 2009. It looks like you pretty much quit on your blog after 2008. You should see if you can get 2-3, maybe more, posts with the same quality per week. If you can do that, that would improve your blog greatly.

Spelling/Grammar - (Out of 20)
You have a couple of typos that I’ve noticed throughout your blog posts, but it looks like they were caused by typing to fast. You should check your posts in Microsoft Word or something for small typos like that before posting them. That will only take you a couple minutes to run through spell check. OR I’m sure that if you even read over what you’ve written, you’ll catch most of those.

If you can get off of Blogger and get a real host with a blog software, that will make your blog better. You also need to make sure that you’re actively posting new posts so that people will actually keep their eye on your blog.

How boring it looks when you visit the site. You need a theme and a banner. You seem to have quit on it. Also, it’s hard to find certain blog posts unless you know when it was posted.
