Appearance and Style - (Out of 20)
Site loaded instantly and just a quick glance told me what your blog is about. I literally have no bad things to say about the style, it's simple and serves it's point. What I like even more is your logo, very cleverly thought out. I often expect some type of feed subscription for the readers to stay connected with the blog, I do realize you have a button on the top right, but I think it you could benefit from having a extra box on the sidebox with an input for email and link to subscribe. Make it clear that you want your readers to subscribe to your great content. The red menu bar is very pleasing to the eyes, it's neither bright red or dull red, it's in between and calm. The dividers in your menu are a bit too hard to see, it would definitely look better if it was a tad more clear; but I guess I only noticed this because I was looking for it. Again, great simple style with a very clear logo.

Blog Layout and Categorization - (Out of 20)
Your blog layout is perfectly fine, you have the index page with the latest blog entries with links to the full entry. You have the category list on the right sidebar rather than on the top menu which is always better because if you were to add more categories the menu would become too crowded. The position of the poll is perfect, easily visible and basically self-explanatory. Again I'm finding very hard to criticize in this topic as well, your categorization is perfect I wouldn't have done it any other way. You have a general category "Big Gov't", then part of the gov't "Congress", then the current administration etc you have divided up your categories very wisely and it's very specific which is really good for readers to choose where they want to read from. One thing, however, that I particularly didn't like was the number of posts you have in one page, based on your entries which contain images( :great: ) and are pretty lengthy, 10 in one page is just a lot to scroll through in one page. I suggest you lowers to something like 8 to 6.

Commenting Activity and Other Interactions - (Out of 20)
Most of your recent comments have no comments, however, previous entries do contain comments, some of them have a great number of them while others don't. For a blog that is only 5 days old, this kind of activity is great, you already have many readers commenting, which only a good thing, you have readers and they are interested in your blog! Nonetheless, you still have posts that contain 0 comments, posts that are few days old. I was literally surprised at how only few people voted in your poll, I was expecting at least 10-15 people but excluding my vote, there were only 4 people. Even for a blog that is awfully new that number is horrible.

Quality and Frequency of Posts - (Out of 20)
Wow is all I can say; qualitative & quantitative? Yeap, that's right. You have an amazing number of posts, interesting posts, for blog this young you not have new content every day but numerous number of top-notch posts in the same day. Most blogs this new fail even update their blogs on a daily basis, you're doing an excellent job. You posts aren't just one or two paragraphs long, they are healthy and meaty posts, not too long not to short, just about right, I loved it. One suggestion though, in the future, you should most definitely cut down to 2 posts a day. Why? continuous posts on a the same day is good for a new blog, makes it look active, however for an established blog with many readers, it can be a bit overwhelming .

Spelling/Grammar - (Out of 20)
Even before I started writing this part, I gave you an 19, I've read about 4 posts on your blog and
all of them had perfect spelling and near-perfect grammar. But near-perfect isn't perfect so why the 20? Writing posts for a blog isn't a piece of cake job and especially for political blog, the writer can get carried away and perhaps will end up with run-on sentences but in my opinion that's fine. Your post "Where to Draw the Line" I caught many repeated words and a sentence that made no sense, " What this really was was a very, very late abortion." But other than this post, all the other posts had very minimal grammar errors which readers can and most probably will overlook.
