Okay, so I'm reviewing a blog that reviews forums that sometimes request reviews here. It's sort of an endless cycle.
Sorry this review is so poor. I've never reviewed a blog before.
Appearance and Style - (Out of 20)
I was actually a bit torn on your blog's appearance at first, but I really think that it's a good look. The nice thing about this theme is that it's wonderfully unique. It isn't white and blue like everything else on the entire internet (well, it sort of is, but you know what I mean). It actually breaks the mold a bit. It's refreshing to see a unique look for once. What might be cool though, in my opinion, is if you made headings on your blog ("About the Blog, Blog Spotlights, and all other text that's on buttons or on the darker background) a brighter color. Perhaps you could try a lime green or something like that. It would add a little more color to the theme itself without looking out of place. You could try making the headings the same color as the links. Other than that, though, you've got a really nice theme for your blog. It's nice to see something different and unique.

Blog Layout and Categorization - (Out of 20)
Your blog is very organized. The physical layout is really clean, and the categories themselves organize the posts well. However, for consistency, you should rename "Blog Spotlights" to "Blog of the Week." That will also eliminate confusion; when I first visited your blog, I wasn't sure where the forum spotlights were until I realized that they were under "Forum of the Week." You just might want to address that for more clarity. Other than that, I would say that your blog is organized extremely well.

Commenting Activity and Other Interactions - (Out of 20)
You've got a small base of people who comment quite often. However, you may want to try to get people to comment more. You could say that a random commenter for the next few posts will win a prize of some kind. That sounds like pretty good publicity to me. However, it looks like you get at least a few comments on each blog post. That's not bad, but I still think it might be good to grow your loyal audience a bit more.

Quality and Frequency of Posts - (Out of 20)
I honestly cannot complain about the quality of your posts at all. Your blog lives up to its purpose very well. You appear to put a lot of effort into reviewing the forums and blogs that you choose for spotlights, and you do a good job of giving overviews of each forum in your Forum of the Week contest. Looking at all the categories on your blog, it appears that you have a new post almost every day or at least every couple days. Your blog posts seem to come with frequency and quality. One complaint that I have is that you haven't been holding your Forum of the Week contest every week. If you don't have it every week or very close to every week, then your readers may feel let down by your blog. Overall, your content is very good, but be sure to keep up on your
forum spotlights, Forum of the Week, and Forum Tournaments. They are almost the whole reason for visiting your blog.

Spelling/Grammar - (Out of 20)
If I wanted to nitpick, I could definitely go through and find some grammar mistakes on your blog. That's because I'm a nerd. However, I'm not going to do that because you're doing a pretty damn good job of keeping your blog free from errors in spelling and grammar. It looks like you write for your blog to the absolute best of your ability, and it shows. The errors that are actually there would never be noticed by ninety-five percent of visitors in a million years anyway. I suppose that you could proofread a couple times to clean up the very few mistakes you do make, but you're already doing very well as it is.
