Good day, Forum Promotion! Since the blog's reboot a few months back under the fearless leadership of [user]Red Herring[/user], our users have submitted some well-written and informative articles. There has been some interaction by the community, but still much less than we intended. We quickly figured out why, though: the blog was not as fluid and easy-to-use as it should be. Therefore, we have since been working on some great blog improvements to help you, the community, become more involved with the Forum Promotion Blog.
- WordPress!
After much hard work, we have installed WordPress, a world leading blog software, to Forum Promotion! Users are now able to submit articles through a WordPress editor and have them directly sent to the Editorial Team for editing and revision. It is now much easier for community writers to format their articles and save them before submitting. In addition, blog readers are provided with a much nicer view of the blog, and a more pleasant reading experience. We are sure that installing WordPress will be the best decision we have made so far. Now, to log into the blog, simply log in via Forum Promotion, then navigate to the home page! Note: We are currently aware of an "invalid login" bug. If you are affected, please be patient for the time being.
- The Front Page
In order to garner more visibility and activity, we have moved to the front page! Say goodbye to the old, static page, and hello to the super-awesome dynamic blog! You can now view the blog by simply going to forumpromotion.net!
- New Name
With much consideration, the Content Team is now known as the Editorial Team. Hopefully, this name change will make the purpose of our team more clear and avoid confusion when discussing the "CT."

- New Rating and Rewards System
Articles are now judged by a college-grade rubric selected by the Editorial Team. Submitted articles must receive a B or higher to be published. This rubric can be found here so you can judge your article before submitting it! In addition, we offer new rewards to those who's articles are published! For receiving a B Rating, you will receive 300 FP$; for receiving an A rating, you will receive 400 FP$, along with a Free Service Pass!
With all of our new changes and updates, we really hope to see your participation with the blog! We now have an easier, more efficient software, a cleaner look, and an awesome team ready to work with your submissions. Remember: anyone can write for the blog and be rewarded! Here is a brief step-by-step guide to submit a post to the blog:
- Sign in to Forum Promotion
- Go to the Forum Promotion Home Page
- Using the WordPress bar at the top, click "New"
- Write your article!
- To save your article and continue editing later, click "Save Draft"
- To submit your article to the Editorial Team, click "Submit for Review." Note: You can not edit your article after submitting it for review.
- Voila! Your article has been submitted to the team and you will receive a response within a few days.
