Blogging for the fun of it

Does anyone here blog simply for the enjoyment of it; not worrying about bringing in visitors but just blogging for themselves? I've recently opened up a blog and have no plans of advertising it or anything of the like, rather keeping it more for myself. I find it a bit relaxing just making a site for myself and no one else. In the very least it should improve my writing so no harm in it.

I'm sort of blogging for the fun of it right now with my blog, The Word of Zuinag. While I do have a banner for it on some forums, I'm not really worried if people come and read or not. I'm writing on my blog so I can look back in the future and reflect on it since I'm writing about things that happen in my life.

That seems like a personal journal to me. You can brush up your writing skills by taking the time out to write your own blog. I think its a great idea, and is fun.

I mean I'll let other people know about it but doesn't matter to me much if it has readers or not. I also figure if I keep this up for a while it would naturally get some traffic, or at least later look like an established blog lol.

I blog for the fun of it. I advertise it only because I think some of the posts can be helpful to people because I focus on writing about family and relationships. I actually had someone tell me recently that my blog actually helped them to make an important decision. I was so happy that I was able to help someone through my writing.

I think blogging for the fun of it is an awesome way to relieve stress, and to have some fun writing about whatever you like. I have considered re-opening my blog called "Darth Writes", but I am a bit busy ATM, so I have postponed it a bit 😉

Started my blog like this in 2007. Now I also earn around $200/month in advertising revenue, so it's not that bad 🙂

I blog for fun on RTSHive, because I love gaming. I have an ad because..well money is money, and who doesn't want money?

I go for visitor gains as a self motivator. Blogging about gaming itself is a motivator, but views help.

To get their opinion heard... Not everyone advertises their blog, and even if they did it is not necessarily to make money.
