Blogs Bumping Old Content

I republish/bump old content occasionally on my blog, but I make sure not to do it often and when I do it, it's usually a post that hasn't been updated in a year or so.

So, how do you feel about a blog bumping old content if they don't do it often?

It's not a bad thing if the subject is still up to date, bumping articles that are needless may affect your visitor attitude and low down your pageviews
