Boards for a general discussion forum?

What boards do you think should be on a general discussion forum?.

There should be ones for:
- Videogames (a single forum to start with... You can later divide it into Sony, microsoft, Nintendo, PC and Other when lots of topics for each type are made.)
- TV and Movies (which can be separated into a board for movies and one for TV when enough topics are made)
- Cartoons/Anime.
- Music.
- Technology.
- Debates (if you want it).
- General news (things that don't fit in other spots).

Then you have your standard section for rules, announcements/feedback/suggestions and introductions/"ask me" type things.

I've never done a gaming forum, just do a general entertainment one.

Anything that your members are interested in. You want to start off with a good amount of boards, and expand from there.
To put this in perspective, check out www.hackforums.net
It started off as a hacking forum and now has sections for gaming, romance, life, money making, and a ton more. It successfully has expanded to cover the interests of their users.

To start though I recommend:
General
Gaming
Sports
Entertainment (music, movies, tv, etc)
Technology
Social
World (news, events, etc)

Check out www.generalforum.com to get an idea of how many sections you might end up with if your site becomes successful.
