I love the holiday season. I especially like all the hoopla's but I'm aware others don't feel the same. So I'm overly cautious about adding holiday decorations to my board. So I tried not to go overboard so I added 2 holiday decorations (Lights and Snow). Both can be disabled permanently by members in the user control panel. Guest in the other hands are unable to disable them but can temporally stop the snow by clicking a menu item (reload once they change pages).
So how do you guys feel about holiday decorations in message boards?
I don't mind it, I visit a few forums with volunteer graphics people that like to help out with request like this.
I've never been a graphics person so it's not really something I've done to many times in the past.

I just don't like the falling flakes when they are too s\dense and slow too much the page. That aside, it feels good to for me to enter a site and see some of the Xmas touches here and there. =]
I have christmas ranks for the staff and elites.. A couple christmas themes, but for those who do not enjoy Christmas decorations on the forum, Ive left the other themes untouched.
