Boils My Blood

If it's not a crime in the UK, then he should NOT be facing trial in the U.S. The U.S. does not have the right to police the world (even though we seem to think we do).

Exactly my thoughts.

So just to make sure I understand this correctly- He lives in Britain, and he set up this site in Britain, correct? Then I see no reason why the US should be involved. I guess I can see why the government doesn't want people accessing pirated materials, but as the article stated, he himself did not download anything illegal.

However, I feel like this case is not at all similar to the kid who hacked into the Pentagon's computers. That's a national AND international security issue, but pirating, while illegal and frowned upon, doesn't have much to do with security.

While I don't care for people who make a profit off of piracy, yeah it's BS. But I mean it's America our govt will do what it wants. If they want this guy they'll get him, if a movie exec wants this guy dead it'll happen too.

America cares little for boundaries when it comes to their interests. They will take whatever they want from whoever they want when they want too. The fact Britain doesn't stand up for its people shows a serious problem in that country when they let anyone be the boss of them as if they were a colony of the US which is ironic to say the least.
