So, yes, how to deal with it? I have to deal with it everyday. Why? Because I don't work. You?

Having a job won't cure your boredom. I am bored at work all the time.

Depending on your job of course...

There are some jobs where you may not have time to be bored. You may have to keep a high pace the whole time and have to be focused on specific details.
Like if you work in a factory assembling things then you really can't afford to have your mind wander. Since a single slip up can cause a machine to crush, cut or burn your hand.

Personally, when I get bored (which is not very often because I have a lot to do) I turn to a game system. Something I can play for a few hours or a few days. Maybe enjoy some great spectacle (like in Uncharted 2) or an interesting story (like Persona 4) or some thought provoking game like a strategy turn based game (like Disgaea 3).

I deal with it by texting with my friends and my girlfriend..

I also like going to school (what kind of teenager am I?!?!) because I hate sitting at home doing nothing. I actually like listening to teachers talk while sitting in a desk.

I also work on online projects while I am bored. Currently have 2 websites running.

I also have an interview at McDonalds in 2 days so we shall see how that goes.

I watch a lot of movie or get into an older show that has 4-7 seasons that way I can watch it whenever I get bored and it will take me a long time to finish them all. Shows with only 1-3 seasons end to fast for me. Then I am all sad because they ended so fast.

I am never bored. I always find something to do. Writing, reading, listening to music... or, if I am stuck in a queue or waiting for the bus/ subway, I am thinking at the stories.

I have so much that needs to be done during the day that I never seem to find the time to be bored. Remember when I was younger and I used to get bored and it was a pain finding anything to do to help pass the time until I found a hobby that kept me going and started college.

I do a lot of writing. If not on Hubs, then on my own forum or blogs. Also, housework. I was out of TV for a long time, didn't even watch Netflix. But lately I'm watching a lot of reality based survival shows like Alaska: The Last Frontier and Survivor Man. Lots of fun and a good way to relieve boredom.

Do something productive. Go outside and bike, or jog, call a friend while your at it. Thats what I do ;P

Well, I enjoy my work. But when not working, the newest boredom cure is my brother's Christmas gift: Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I NEVER get bored! I have a mission! My life has a purpose - every second of my life is meaningful. I simply can't be bored!

If I ever feel bored, I'd go looking to do my other hobbies. I have a lot, as shown in my profile, and I almost never run out of things to do. When everything else fails, sleep is the best cure!

Amazing way to view life.

I'm usually on my forum or other forums when I'm bored or trying to kill time.

When I am bored, I do a number of things.

Those things would entail:
1. Walk
2. Lawn Work
3. Playing with my niece.
4. Watching a good clean comedic movie. One of those that just happens to be good, and doesn't have crude humor in it.
5. Post topics, and reply to things here at Forum Promotion!

Half of my time is spent either doing fatherly-related things or working, so I actually never have any free time to even consider being bored.

When I'm bored I'd most likely either go to sleep or play games, or even better; go out with friends. 🙂
