Bots scraping forum content for AI?

For sure.

But with that being said, it's not always a bad thing.

I've seen AI-generated search results that have used my blog posts as sources.

AI isn't going anywhere, and it will continue to disrupt how we search and rank our websites. Either you learn and master it and adapt or you get left behind.

It's that simple.

This is why I wasn't really bothered by the number of AI bots visiting RPG haven. They've seemed to have died down a bit though, but I still see a few browsing the forum here and there.

How can you tell it’s an A1 bot?

When I was checking the "Who's online?" list, I took a look at their ip addresses. Some were chatGPT bots, some were Meta AI bots, and most of them were Tiktok spiders. That's what it said for what "browser" the bot was using. RPG Haven is using phpBB but it should show up like this on pretty much every forum software.
