How do you get Google and Yahoo bots on your forums? I've seen those help topics before, but they don't help.

They come for a number of reasons, just keep updating your forums with good content and have activity, and they should come (unless you have a robots file stating otherwise).

Get backlinks, that's the main way Google and Yahoo will find your site

Also create a sitemap, and submit to google/yahoo/live, etc

what do you mean by backlinks, though? The sitemap was done, but I didnt know what you meant about backlinks

Backlinks are basically a link from another website leading to yours.
