Brawl Domain (yeah joining the bandwagon, here)

Domain is a PR5, expires in february 2012, which i have set up through auto reload, while still in my possession.

Site's been open for 3 years, and with a new Smash game announced to release next year for the new Nintendo console, there's no signs of slowing down.

I'm just hoping it's worth 5 bucks, maybe

I'm just saying that your site has been around as long as this one has, so I would definitely say that it would be worth more than five dollars, buddy.

I think he was being sarcastic. I'd definitely pay five bucks for it. 😛
I could see it selling for at least $500, but if you were to sell it right before the new game comes out, I could see an investor paying as much as ten or twenty times more than $500.

The database by itself can pull $500+. The domain is keyword rich with both brawl and domain being highly searched for words. Being a PR 5 domain, if it has quality backlinks and a good traffic flow, can easily fetch anywhere between $150-$300 if you found the right buyer.

Those are my thoughts on it. If you were looking to sell though, you would not get anything close to that here on FP.

This is the first truely valuable site I've seen listed on here. While it is not the most active it does have over 200,000 posts which is important since people who buy forums do so for posts and members. This site has both. I could see this site fetching upwards of $1,200 dollars maybe more to the right buyer.

I'd say at least $1500 for the whole thing, which really needs to be sold as the whole thing to have any contextual meaning. Again, it really depends on the buyer, but I'm sure I can see someone paying a good amount for your forum.

I had a feeling there was a catch to the whole five bucks thing. I mean, if it was a brand new forum, then yeah I could see it selling for that much, but for a site that's about as old as this one with that sort of impressive stats, I too would probably think it could pull off for $500. But like others have said, it would all depend on what you got for the whole thing. I could look it up for you out of curiosity, but those appraisal sites aren't always very accurate, and sometimes the amount they give is way too much for what the forum is really worth. I've even looked up brand new sites and the amount they come out with is pathetic. They could say that a forum with 10 members and 100 posts could be worth $1000, but really, paying that much for a brand new forum that's not really off the ground yet? I definitely don't trust those sites, otherwise I'd very easily look it up for ya.

I could honestly say that I would pay 200$ for just the domain if I had the money. Your forum would be in the high x,xxx$ easily, especially if you monetized it.

I dont know much about prices... But I would recommend a new theme and a new forum software and it would bring in a lot more money. Maybe even a custom theme... It would bring a lot more.

Uhmm the forum software would not effect the price at all,unless he used a paid for forum software.

As for a new theme,I think he should get a new custom theme.
