There are managers and managers in the past that have said that they think the Premier League players should get a break over the Christmas period.

Do you think that they should get a break over Christmas?

Well I think the boxing day game should be scrapped as it probably means for some clubs they are training on Christmas day. However other than that, no.

Nah, for the amount they are get payed they should work everyday -lol-

I don't think they should have a break either, they get paid a lot of money and I can only go a tiny while without watching Everton.

Also, Sbfc93 the boxing day game is a tradition and it would be a shame if that was scraped.

Still, some footballers have families and Christmas time is a family time.

Don't you think the wags go with them and get pampered all day.

-lol- -lol- what about the children if they have any?

The children would go with them.

Footballers bring there children to the match a lot of the time.

I know... i probably wouldn't scrap the boxing day game because people will slag me off and not like me -lol- XD

Makes a change -razz- j/k ~twisted~

Meh, No ones moaning about the break at the moment, leave it as it is, or make it worse ~wink~

Yeah I guess players don't moan so why would there be any need to change it?

It is mainly the managers who moan.

The Christmas schedule can be quite hectic for some clubs so I do sometimes understand why the manager moan.

I know Everton had 9 games in last years December period.

Then Moyes should take you out of the Uefa cup and stop trying for the champions league, stops that problem -razz-

Yes, I thought not :twistedman:

The histon/cambridge new years day game got postponed due to fixture congestion, and 9 games in 1 month -surprise-
