Britain has left the EU, and for many of us this has led to the pound dropping and many products such as marmite disappearing from our shelves. Many of us who live out in the countryside are suffering the most.
It's helping me allot, I'm sorry to say but I'm living in the UK and still have money coming into the banks back in Australia and so it's helping me allot with the exchange rate 🙂
At the moment it's been like 68 to the pound and so transferring Australia dollars into pounds it's over 50% 🙂 I get more for the pounds YEAHHHH
Before, early of this year it was bad and at the time the UK pound was strong and so it was between 30 to 45 to the pound and that was no go for bank to bank.
It's very bad for allot of people but just have to keep strong and one day the pound will get strong again. It goes up and down.
@Myers You can live without marmite 😛 but that's damn nice to have
To be honest, I really like it. I don't live in the UK, but from a historical perspective, the closer the government to the people, the better for the people the government is. When countries start forming multi-country governments, that's when bad things start to happen, since it's pretty hard to meet the needs of people in multiple countries. Here's a solid article that I read about the economics behind it: http://www.forbes.com/sites/timwors...that-bad-for-the-economy-was-it/#2545bdab2474
