British ice hockey anyone?

Hey everyone does anyone watch this?
I do and love it.
I am following my local team Coventry Blaze.
They are amazing they have won the Elite leauge 3 time in a row.

I didnt even know Britian had a league. Any players from this league ever been drafted by a NHL team?

I know Steve Smith and Owen Nolan were born in the UK.

Thanks to a fan of the Cardiff Devils at HN, I know qute a bit about the EIHL now lol.

I don't watch any games though, I don't know where to find streams for them. Any help?

I go to Dundee Stars games. We're currently last in the league because it's our first year in the Elite League. We won the British League, Play-offs and Cup in 2001 but have seen dropped out the top leagues because of the re-structure forcing us to drop out because our rival local club weren't invited.

Wow, thats stupid. Your team cant be in the better leagues unless their rival team makes it? Time for a new rival lol

For anyone that is interested, our roster has 6 Scottish, 7 Canadians, 4 Americans and 1 Czech.

There are alot. Rosters are limited to 12 import players but the majority are Canadian. They usually come from leagues like ECHL and AHL. Some come from the NHL but the style here is alot more physical so clubs look for players with strength rather than skill.

Really? Hmm I always thought European leagues were more... Less physical and more "skill-based". I guess thats only for Easter Europe.

Is there any website that has streams of games in this league? I'd like to watch a game, see what its like.
