British Tea Party?

What do you Brits usually have to eat at a British Tea party? I have been to 1 personally and I've had sandwiches, tea, coffee and scones and trumpets. And you in the UK personally?

I’ve never been to a tea party. I don’t know anyone who has. Crumpets are more of a breakfast item, scones are filled with huge debate over which way round you put the cream/jam in and tea is a must have all day.

The posh tea parties you see in films and on tv doesn’t really exist unless you’re upper class.

We always say our famous words of "tea and biscuits" But no parties. Something for young little girls to do when playing around with there toys.
