Broken Captcha

A while age I realized that my registration captcah wasn't working, and I can't figure out how to fix it. I eventually had to take it off because no one could register. Because of that there have been so many bots registering.

We just recently updated to SMF 1.1.6 and I was hoping that would fix it, but no luck.

Can anyone please help?

Make sure that all the files SMF files have been uploaded and it may also be a template issue causing it to not show. Try adding a new template and setting the new one as default and seeing if the CAPTCHA shows or not in the new template.

okay i feel very stupid right now but i can't find the SMF files. ay help on that?

It looks like you are not with a free forum host so it means that you must have access to Cpanel?

If you view file manager and in the public_html folder you should start to see the SMF files and there should be other directories also which contain even more files.

If you don't know what i am going on about don't worry as i don't think it is anything to do with that. I think it is a template issue so if you temporarily try a different template and see if it works on the new template it then shows that it is an issue with the template you use.
