I'm interested in purchasing broken iPhones to fix and resell. However, I am trying to figure out how much I should pay for them?

All feedback is welcome, also does anyone know of any websites that allow you to purchase fairly cheap broken iPhones?

Sounds like you might put in more money that you'll get back. Buying the old phones and buying the replacement parts adds up. Most people would prefer to buy a refurbished phone that comes straight from the manufacturer. Manufacturers sell refurbished phones for cheap and they often come with a warranty. You'll have to go even cheaper than them if you want to get some sales.

If you're really interested in doing that I would recommend checking out eBay and actively try to win auctions. I believe people have been successful at doing what you're planning to do which is why there are so many willing to bid on eBay. Sometimes they sell broken phones by the lot instead of individual. I haven't personally looked into this myself so I'm not sure of the ideal dollar amount you should aim to purchase them for. Like any business though you'd want to evaluate and get at least 100% profit back. For instance if you spend $50 on the broken phone/parts you'd want to sell it for at least $100.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I was trying to win an auction on eBay but I quit bidding once I realized it was going over $50.
Also an iPhone repair kit will only cost me $14, and refurbished iPhone 5's sell at $114 on eBay.

The repair kit[for a broken screen] is very cheap because it only comes with a new screen. If a screen on an iPhone is broken there are three things you should fix, the screen, the LCD and the digitizer. You could fix a screen perfectly and the iPhone still has a HIGH chance of not working. So when you factor in a new kit[the entire thing] you wouldn't be making much. A brand new iPhone 5S is $200 at Walmart. For you to fix a screen[completely] it would cost about $100 so you'd make less than $100.
