Hey, I'm doing a project in school which requires me to find out the most common ways to break a wrist.
If any of you have broken your wrist, please post how.

Anything involving sports. Basketball is one example, as in shooting, you flex your wrist, you can get your wrist hit by a guard, etc. Players also fall and land on their wrist in basketball, and either just sprain it or break it.

Biking, gymnastics and probably running. I broke my wrist by running and my arm by biking.

Everything mentioned above, plus falling? I don't know, never broke my wrist, but sports are a definite.

Boxing will do it too. So will Kung Fu.

Lots of personal hand to hand contact that way.

Even falling forward can cause some damage to your wrist if you try to catch yourself.

Weights and pretty much anything in the gym. Even the treadmill could prove fatal.

Kino if there was a like button I would agree. When I was a goal keeper my wrists got broke as a ball swerved for my face and I used my hands to defend myself, also my friends brothers broke his wrists by defending his self from a ball during a football tournament in France.

I broke my wrist 4 times on Monkey Bars. I fell and tried catching myself on the ground.

I broke my wrist when running and the concrete had a step down. I landed on my hand.

Yeah I've had some close calls while being back in goal. Only sprains and bruises though. Got lucky 😛
