My brother doesn't have a single credit card, so I was wondering so that he will be able to move forward in the world someday (since credit scores are an issue in some cases) how can my bro establish credit?

Get a gas station or store credit card. They'll probably give you a very low ($500 or less) credit limit. Pay the credit card off in full every month. If your brother doesn't have a car, take out a car loan and pay it off every month.

I'd like to know something, when I am the cardholder but add an authorized user to my card (they get their own card I know), will that affect their credit at all over time?

I don't think so, though it would be best to contact your CC company about that.

A person I know established good credit by paying off his mobile phone and other bills on time every month.
Pre-paid credit card companies might give you a credit score for using it. But, you need to ask the company first.
I also heard leasing, renting, or paying monthly payments for things like computers, TVs, and high price items can give you a slightly higher credit score.
If you are a student, you can apply for a student CC usually.
