I have just started my new forum and would like to know what everyone thinks about it? What is it missing? Besides posts/members lol. Do you see anything that you like/don't like? I am very curious to hear your opinions.

I like the design, only it's a bit too bright...

I can see you are keeping it simple and that is good; not too many categories.

I also thought that it was too bright, and have changed it now to a darker white color. It is much easier to see now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Perhaps not right now, but you should definitely expand your layout a bit and give popular topics their own section so your current ones don't become too crowded. Once you find out what sort of interests your community has, you can set your sections up accordingly.

Also, do you not have an announcement forum or is it just hidden to guests?

I don't have one because I figured I could just use the global announcements when I really needed to get news to the members of the forum.
