Yes, the forums are temporarily down. They were hacked by someone, and I tried to get the backup, but it was not available. I am committed to this project though, and will have them back up in no time flat. Luckily, the forums were not very big yet. They will be bigger and better than ever before. I just hope that whomever is responsible realizes that they will not get me to quit on this forum like I have many others by simply trying to hack the forum. I will make sure it is more secure this time, and that they do not stand a chance. Seems I have some enemies from my forum closing days.
It was MyBB, but I had an outdated version somehow that had the security flaw that they have fixed in the newer versions. Not sure how I ended up with the old version, but my guess is it was through the script installer. Luckily when they hacked it, I saw it fairly quickly and just took the site down. But, I did not remember to create a backup first of the site before it was hacked.
