Buy Another Domain?

I was wondering whether it would be good for Movie Estate to buy another domain. At the moment, the domain is http://www.movie-estate.com - would it be a good idea to buy http://www.movieestate.com? I could get it to redirect to my preferred URL (with the dash), as I read that domains without dashes are better.

Yeah, you should. People may forget the dash and therefore end up with a 404 page, and not get to the content.

Also, over time, you can see which domain gets more hits and possibly do a switch so the other is the main domain.

Yes! personally I would buy it just because many big sites do that it and just makes your site have a professional feel

I'd do it for sure. You will probably get more hits this way. And it will make people happier when they forget to type in the dash and they still get to the site.

I've decided that I'm going to buy the domain - thanks for your tips, guys. I also thought it would be easier to tell people about it when I'm talking to them; I don't have to worry about saying the dash, and they'll get there anyway.

Yes, because dashes are total turn offs.
