Where can I buy cigarettes online? I've seen a lot of sites but it's hard to tell which ones are legitimate. Anyone buy cigarettes online? What site did you use?

Just some notes: I would prefer to pay with PayPal but I can do debit/credit. Also, I'm in the US and over 21.

Never buy off line as you dont know if they are legit better going to a shop

What's wrong just walking into the store!

Tried all of that. It's not the same as an actual cigarette. My body isn't ready for it.

I don't feel like paying over $10 a pack anymore.

I'd assume online wouldn't be any different if it's from a US based seller since most of that price is taxes.

There's a reason it's commonly referred to as a very expensive habit, and as to why they're so expensive, to deter people from smoking them.

It's not. It's a lot cheaper online. Just because it's a US-based site does not mean it's going to be one specific price. Online stores that are based in the US need to factour in the taxes of each specific state. Also, cigarettes, along with nearly everything else, is priced differently from town to town. It varies. With that being said, a carton of what I smoke is about $120 at almost any given store, while a carton of what I smoke is about $20 online. I just don't know how legitimate those sites are.

Why would you want to purchase your ciggerate online? I'm very aware that there are so many stores in your neighborhood where you could easily buy.

I'm not a smoker myself (nor do I advocate anyone start). So I can't verify if these onlines stores are legitimate or not.

My gut says if the price these stores are offering is more than 10-20% less than what the stores are selling for then it's likely a scam. (EX- if a carton in the store is $100 but online it's saying $50... something is up.) Otherwise how are they getting these cigarettes?
(Perhaps they're illegal/stolen cigarettes or maybe they're native cigarettes... Or there may not be any at all... just a cheap price to try to get you to put your credit card info in.)

Honestly it's probably best not to take a chance here. Just go to the store, spend the extra money and buy your smokes from a legitimate source.

cigarettes are not good for health and so question is will people stop?

Why buy cigarettes when you can go roll yourself a big fat doobie?
I can't have that without cigarettes. lol

You are? You live by me? lol There's a couple of stores but again, I'm not into spending over $10 for a pack.
I don't buy a cigarette from online. But you can make a test here http://www.smokers-mall.com/cigarettes/
Have you used them yourself? Do you know that they're legitimate?

My gut says the same thing, which is why I needed input from others. I just can't believe that they'd make any money from it, so I'm always thinking I'll either get something of really low quality or nothing at all.

Cigarette purchases have hit an all time low this year. But it's easier to get people not to start, then to get people to stop. Especially for the people like me who have been smoking for more than 20 years.

Historically the prices of cigarettes have gone up and it really hasn't stopped people from smoking. They'll gripe about the cost more but they'll suck it up and pay because they need it. The anti-smoking education in schools has been far more successful at preventing people from smoking than the cost increases have been.

About the only way to put an end to smoking and forcing everyone to stop would be to forcibly shut down all the tobacco manufacturing plants, cease all imports of tobacco products, destroy all the remaining stock. Then lump tobacco in with restricted narcotics like heroin. However this would never work as it would just create an even larger black market for illegal cigarettes than there already is. Costs for these illegal cigarettes would skyrocket. And you can bet that enforcement/compliance rates with the bans would be pretty low.

Back on topic about the online shops, if you're on the fence about it then don't take the chance. I've always been told if something looks too good to be true then it probably is. And that's worked out pretty well for me. Even if these online stores are in fact legitimate they're also likely to have hidden costs associated with them that could negate any savings. So supposing that they could somehow sell cigarettes for like $40 less than other stores per carton... what's the point if they still end up charging you sales tax and shipping costs which make them even more expensive than any store.
I know for myself buying gunpowder or ammo online the prices in other places is much better... But it comes with the caveat that they can only do ground shipping (which can easily be $50 or more) so any cost savings are eliminated.

Alright then, you know the best way to use.

If it's purchasing online that serves well for you, then you should by all means go with it.

Good luck.
