Buying Domains @ GoDaddy?

I tried to buy some .info domains and pay through paypal without using any offer codes and I had to add a credit card?? How do I get around this?

I would go with namecheap but they don't have 99cent .infos.

Yeah they have a paypal button but you need to have your credit card linked to your paypal account. I dont have a credit card.

Then you can't purchase a domain from GoDaddy. You can only purchase domains with a verified PayPal account on GoDaddy (connecte with your bank account) or by simply using a credit card.

This is while I don't use GoDaddy. With Namecheap you do not need a verified PayPal. 🙂

yes that's a must condition for using godaddy acocunt.

name.com is also a good registrar with no verified paypal account required.

I use godaddy for my current domain and for every domain Ive purchased before... With the exception of my first domain purchase. I used http://www.mydomain.com/ I think.. Not sure. It was a long time ago. I do remember that I transferred that domain to godaddy for a couple dollars and got an extra year added onto my domain. 😀

Every penny ever sent to godaddy from me was through paypal.

But I don't get what's the fuss is to verify it using a bank account. It's pretty easy to do if you know how to read instructions. Or maybe it's just me, I had a bank account since I was 5-6.

You just need to provide your bank details

Paypal will give you some money for free (you can keep it!)

then you have to enter the amounts of they gave you from your ban statement on the paypal website to get verified

He's on the money. You really only need your bank account number. The little details are different because every country's banking systems are different but it's largely the same.
