It's a form of electronic currency easily convertible into USD. The difference is that there is a limit in the amount of bitcoin availability so as not t cause inflation. You have to "mine" bitcoins by using computer resources... 🙂

As bitcoins are a real currency I would have though this rule would apply:

"However FP Cash can not be bought or sold to other members for real cash."

I use a hosted wallet myself so I don't have to sync to a server
