I don't believe this. They have always said this in every year. Even now in April I think it was. What happened? Nothing.
 
Yeah but who knows? It could happen and it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Would like to see it try. 🙂 In fact they've stated they're closing a thousand other dates and haven't.
 
I hope it shuts down..people have no life being on Facebook all day. No offense any of you Facebook addicts here on FP. Not only that, but I think Google+ will be better.

It was a tabloid you could pick up at the magazine rack at your local supermarket as well. I used to read them while I was standing in line just for the lol's.
 
I don't know what's worse: Rumors about 2012 in general or this crap. If this guy really wanted his "life" back, he would've closed FB ages ago. I'd hate to see this site shut down, because I have cousins and relatives who don't live around here on that site. Is that even a legit story? Because you wouldn't think that if it was the real deal, the title wouldn't be in all capital letters. I won't believe any of it till I see it. I'm pretty sure it's just one of those stupid tabloid things anyway.

Usually when these things get around on Facebook I post to the statuses saying the world's going to end. :lol:

Facebook would never close.

Thanks for that! People need to quit scaring people senseless like this. I mean, really, I'm sure there'd be more to closing down any site than just wanting your life back. Wow. I'm pretty sure if that announcement were to really be made, he wouldn't say something like he did about taking the pics off the Internet.

That's true. It's almost like these tabloids are pretty much crying "wolf", but they'll get their own back when a real announcement comes along. Then when they really announce that Facebook is closing, nobody is going to believe them.
