Cabin Fever?

Do you ever get cabin fever when the weather is bad that you don't go out much?

I'm kind of feeling it now! I was really excited to attend a ladies pot luck luncheon tomorrow, but it just got canceled due to strong winds and severely cold weather. I'm really bummed by it because I wanted to get out of the house and talk to my friends! I live so far from them so I don't see them too often in the winter and I have missed a lot of church due to bad weather and not being able to make the long commute.

What helps you get over cabin fever?

I like staying at my house...but sometimes I do get cabin fever. When I do, keeping myself busy with reading or playing games, talking to friends online or playing with my kids help me.

When I am unable to get out because of severe weather, I normally have plenty of books at my disposal so I don't run out of stuff to read. I also make sure that my Kindle is charged as well.....even more stuff to read.

I usually prefer to stay indoors so I don't feel this too often. I do get it from time to time though, I usually play video games, post on forums and work on my projects whenever I'm stuck inside.

Mostly stay home more and go out when I need to go out, not very nice when you get sick from it
