I would meet people offline in real life. I'm just smarter than most people. It has to be a public place, and of course you have to be old enough. Like if you don't have your license, you aren't old enough. I'm 17, I could meet anyone here. I mean the people I know real well and Skype with all the time.

I would never meet anyone off the internet. For my safety as well as their's. It's bad enough that you can't trust too many people online, and while it would be interesting to meet people online in real life, it's probably not worth the risk, even with protection, because you never know what can happen. I wouldn't dare risk it. This is also why I refuse to give out personal information on forums as well, for the same reason.

Just like to point out with your IP alone I could find out everything about you...

Yeah, people live under some sort of impression that no one can get to them, but whenever you register to a forum, register for news updates, register for game updates, register for anything, your information is sold to all kinds of third party companies. Not as much for forums as for signing up for updates and ordering products online.
