If you have a site or blog on a free webhost, is it still possible for that site/blog to rank high on Google? (even when using their configured subdomain)?

Yes, unless the freehost is banned on Google for spammy activity.

Of course. Even my TOA Server is very popular on google , it's even on the first page , all full of it.

Yes, it can still rank high. But it's always better to have a TLD. 😛

I've seen a lot of them.

Free forums get ranked quicker than someone using a purchased web hosting. such www.freeforums.org

Say like if i wanted to use www.ashley.freeforums.org it would get an high rank because it's using the freeforums.org free sub-domain name.

As long as you use a TLD and not their subdomain. Subdomains never rank highly.

Depends, do you mean free hosting or a subdomain?

I'm pretty sure the domain is the top of the food chain, then Google looks at subdomains.

I guess it depends on how relevant the search is to the domain/subdomain
