Can Someone Help Me With Some HTML Table Stuff

im trying to get these two tables side by side, they are already but i want to raise the text from the rite table. i did a search and looked at like 30 sites and couldnt get any to work. the closest i got was to just put align:left in the first table, i tried nesting a couple times but nothing worked. these are the original tables. telling me to do this or that probably isnt gonna help ive tried it so many times, if someone could please put them together

also i tried height in this row and it doesnt change, i tried the table one and each td. id like to make it as high as the two other rows in the infocenter. it wont change. this is the rows html, i know having the table is weird but i was having alot of problems with cellspacing and borders and my background and it works better this way

Its been a while since I used tables but maybe you should set margin-top and padding-top to 0px ? so that both tables should be pushed up to the top?

I suggest you try look online at w3schools.com im sure one of the chapters there on HTML should help solve this issue.

You shouldn't really being using tables. Use CSS and remember to include attributes such as display, width and float elements etc.

I thought the same thing but hes/shes got alot of tables made already and it'll probably take him/her a while to remove the tables and use divs instead :/

I understand that but it is better to use CSS and clean the code up instead of using tables as they are messy and limit styling options compared to CSS.

Anyway, looking at the code provided, I'm suspecting that it's not working because you have the value of 50% for both the widths of the containers. Tables and CSS both don't like exact values. Try 48% instead of 50% on both sides and that might fix your problem.

The problem is not the width, its the Height, He wants to align the texts from the left table to the right table.

Perhaps he has a <br> line somewhere? Ill see if I can spot any.
