I have created a website dedicated for conversions.
I intend to put there almost every converter or calculator you can think of, and the site already contains many.

Can this site be profitable or is it better for me to sell it?

Thanks for your advises!

That's the first problem. People will expect it to be free.

In my own personal opinion, I believe you would have an extremely hard time finding an audience for this website, especially one willing to pay. The tools offered are a search away on Google.

Perhaps expanding to include tools like GPA calculators, you'd better separate yourself from a search engine otherwise I see no real profit to be made.

Hmm.. his domain and his site state that it is free. I'm sure it is free. And the way he is going to make 'profit' is to place advertisement or.. not sure.

Anyway, unless you have many unique calculators/converters. People can simply search at Google "calculator" and a calculator would appear. Same to normal conversion such as, MB to GB.

Are you meaning through advertising? Not charging people, but charging advertisers? Either way, your UI is going to have to be a lot more enticing.

Yes I meant to earn using ads I place on site.

I added many converters and calculators to the site, and I hope that people will like it because of this.

What do you think?

I'm not sure about the worth of the site, but I wonder if this is a lot more useful than it actually is because it's a lot of things in one. I don't think you find that amount of things in one website, because usually it's a site dedicated to one thing.

I think it would depend on your SEO whether it can be profitable or not.

Personally, I use converters daily, especially unix time converter, dollars to euros, MB to KB, and temperature conversions.

Of the 4, I have 2 bookmarked and the other 2 I just google and won't even have to click on any results because google already does the conversion.
So, even for someone like me, who uses 4 different converters every day, I'd never land on your site.

I think you'd have more chance if you added a good amount of original articles about conversions.

Thanks! I wrote some unique converters like finding if a number is a prime number or finding the day of the week for a date, and I will add many more converters and calculators soon.

No, I highly doubt it. Google does this in search automatically anyway.

Not many people seem to know that to be honest.... or so I've found.

This seems to me like a very difficult market to break in to, since there are some very established competitors out there. Good luck, though! 🙂

Since it was one I thought it is free. It's very difficult .

I already have small amount of traffic (around 50 visits per day).

I hope to increase it with good SEO work...

A lot of that is probably us checking your ste out lol. This site isnt going to do much in the world of google, cell phones, and everything else. Had this site been created in 1995, yes, it would be profitable. Here in 2015 its very very unlikely. I do wish you luck though.

I agree you can find every conversion in Google, but if you have all the conversions in one place, and they all work fine, then why do you need Google here?
My site is also optimized for mobile.

I added many useful conversions like:
checking the exchange rate of any currency, finding the day of the week of a specific date, checking if a number is a prime number, converting text to Morse code, calculating your BMI, generating meta tags for your website and much more.

So I think the site has some chance to succeed 🙂
