Can you download PHPBB with Mods pre-installed?

Can you download PHPBB from somewhere with mods already installed before you download it?
 
I dont think so. Mods are addons to the PhpBB forum software, so you are suppose to add them based on what you need. I highly doubt you can download the PhpBB software with pre-installed mods.
 
Ah, that sucks. They seem very hard to install, have you ever installed any?

You MIGHT be able to, but I really doubt it. If so, it definitely won't be on any official phpBB site.

You're not having too much difficulty with mods, are you? If you are, just about anyone here will gladly help you.
 
Well I don't have a paid domain yet, but I was messing around with a free one and I had a lot of trouble trying to install "Who was Here". Do you know how to install that? And do you know how to install an RSS Post Bot, where it will post RSS feeds on the forum? Any help would be appreciated!
 
Although there are pre-MODded phpBB Installations, it is highly recommended that you do not use these. In the future you will not get support at phpBB.com.

Actually, they have to give you support provided the phpBB copyright is still there.

jf28, are you having some problems with installing MODs on phpBB?

Yeah phpBB will have to give you support regarding their software, not for the MODs installed. For that you go to where you downloaded the phpBB pre-modded download and they will give you support there.

They don't have to at all, even if the copyright is still there, if you are using a forum package of phpBB with loads and loads of mods installed it can cause serious problems later on, and due to the software being heavily modified, they wont. Also they don't give general support if you use a fresh install and install one mod with one small edit, the forum has been modified away from it's original state.
 
MAke sure to post back here once you try it so others can benefit from your experience.
 
The only problem I'm having for now is that I'm not familiar with using phpmyadmin. Any ideas?
