Can you get a .net or .com or shorst domain without paying?

You can get a lot of domain names for free such as .co.cc and .co.uk for free or 5 dollars or so, but I would recommend if you're planning to invest in a domain you go for a .net or a.com 🙂

doesn't matter, I think I got my first domain name at 11 I believe, you don't have to be 18. Just do some grunt work on DP and then ask for payment through godaddy gift card I guess, or go to Dntemple.com, great place but be warned that we are tough on any spammers, not that you probably need to worry 🙂

Free domains are not good and it is better to stick with the default subdomain in my opinion. Nothing in this world is completely free. There is always something you need to do or put up with if you get anything for free.

Due to privacy acts and such, you must be at least 13 years of age to legally carry ownership of a domain name. If you lie about your age you face possible fraud charges as well as your domain being locked / deleted.

You must be 18 years of age to legally own a PayPal account, however if your parent sets it up with their permission I believe laws in most countries would allow the children of said adult to access it, assuming the adult takes full responsibility for their child's actions.
As Shotgun said, there is no such thing as free. There are many ways to get it without needing money though, for example http://www.DNTemple.com/ a site where you post until you earn 1,000 DN$ (Like FP Cash here) and then you can buy any .com of your choice.
