Can your account on a web host ever get suspended for..

Not renewing your hosting on it multiple times or like 1 time only?

I've always been careful to cancel a service I been using at the right time or always pay the renuwel fee when required.

So I have no exp in this hence me asking this to people who have. 🙂

If my account on say examplehost.com can be suspended because I didn't renuw my hosting on more then 1 occasion.

I'm just curious that is all.

My guess is that you would get a few warnings (at least one) saying that you haven't paid yet even though it's passed the deadline (this in addition to one saying that the renewal period is coming up).

And if you haven't then your account would probably be suspended.

It really depends on the hosting company you are with. Like YTHelpers said, most hosting companies will give you some warnings. However, they are under no obligation to do so and there may be some hosts that will suspend your account as soon as it becomes overdue.

I always knew some hosts were stricter than others. I've had friends who've had sites on given paid hosts, and they'd forget to pay their bill for some reason or other, and then BAM...next thing you know the account is suspended and nothing can be done about it till they pay up---and even pay in full, depending on how strict the site is.

I prefer to have my hosting payment automated, so that I don't have to remember to pay them every time it becomes due. Most hosts will facilitate this, either via PayPal subscription or an automated monthly charge on a credit card.

I kind of like that idea. One less thing to worry about.

I tried to be clear in the OP but you guys got me all wrong...

You first got to register on any web host right? Now when you done that you get an "account". You order some hosting then you got "hosting account".

My question is about both the accounts and hosting.

Will my behavior on the hosting effected my account? As in if I don't renew the hosting once or multipel times will they ban me from being able to login again?

An other situation:

I got 3 hosting accounts. One I ain't renewed can they suspend the others as well if I have the behavior to do this often?
