Every now and then the local store here sells candy bars for cheap, and earlier today I got there to find that a few of the more popular candy bars were on sale for $0.39 per bar (which is quite a bit of a discount, and below wholesale price). So what did I do? I bought almost a full box of Milky Way singles, for $11.16 (it had 27 in it, and not the typical 36 in the box). 😀

Have you ever taken advantage of candy discounts, that gives you more than a 50% discount for various candies?

Whenever I see them on for a good sale I usually pick some of my favourites up and store them away lol. The most popular time to do so is after Halloween and Valentine's Day as stores clear them out for pennies on the dollar.

The mention of Milky Way singles brought my mind back in time when my mother would bring home a pack when she comes home from visiting my grandparents. I love Milky Way but ironically, I couldn't finish one bar. Now that I can eat one bar in one sitting, Milky Way single is not available here. What we can buy in the Duty Free shops is the fun size. They say it's the same Milky Way but it seems like it has a different taste.

I see the sale cost all the time, Mostly in the big stores then then small stores. I sometimes pick up some chocolate biscuits balls for £1.00 that last me for a day.

Other then that I don't buy much candy

You could just go to Costco, they probably have a box of the same single milky way bars for $10. Lots of business owners go there to buy their products & resell them at a higher price.

Personally I wish I had a Costco nearby, so I don't have to order stuff online.
